Description
- FRONT TEXT: Wawatam Light
- BACK TEXT: Wawatam Light - This lighthouse had its start down in Monroe, MI at a welcome center in 1998. St. Ignace was the fortunate new location for the light after it was no longer needed in Monroe. It started shining out over Lake Huron at its current location in 2006. It is named after the retired railroad ferry "Chief Wawatam" that used the same dock in St. Ignace until the 1980's.
